Our site is a true hidden gem, situated alongside the iconic East Coast Main Line, and features an array of attractions for enthusiasts and visitors alike.
We offer three meticulously crafted miniature railways with steel, correctly profiled rails, along with:
- A dedicated Traction Engine Track
- A Radio-Controlled Crawler Track
These facilities provide a unique and immersive experience for both hobbyists and spectators.
Our diverse membership includes passionate model engineers and artisans with a variety of interests and expertise, including:

York Model Engineers welcomes visitors during our public open days and special events. These are perfect opportunities to see our miniature railways in action, meet our members, and experience the magic of model engineering firsthand.

- Parking: Free on-site parking is available.

Directions
By Car:
- From York city center, take the Tadcaster Road (A1036) towards Dringhouses. Proceed to the end of North Lane right up to the Network Rail fence, look left, that's the entrance road.
By Public Transport:
- The nearest bus stop is just a short walk away on Tadcaster Road. Buses 4, 12, and 13 serve this route.
By Train:
- York Railway Station is a 10-minute drive from our location.
